"Falling" or "Old Men in Parachutes"

This is Rob’s 3rd death anniversary. I thought I would share one of his earliest works. It was done in 1982 when he was 23. The painting is 20” x 24”, acrylic paint on canvas and is in a private collection. Rob had a fascination with what is right side up and it is a re-occurring theme.

The Website Contact Emails

The website bugs are still being ironed out. I was wondering why I was receiving no contact emails and was recently private messaged on the Rob Gonsalves Official Facebook site that a poster buyer concerns weren’t being addressed on the website. It turns out the Contact Forms were linked to an unused email. That has been rectified. There are many emails that I never saw since this website came online. Don’t worry, I will respond to your queries!

There were a few queries regarding slow poster deliveries So far, the posters are arriving at their destinations but there have been delays. Instead of arriving within a week to ten days, a delivery to the Netherlands took a month and a half. Please be patient but let me know if you haven’t received your order (knowing that shipping is slower than usual). For your information, if you have chosen the economical air transport, there is no tracking so there is no way to know where the poster has been held up if there is a delay.

More poster options will be included soon and the limited country shipping list will be added to. If there is an image that you want as a poster, please contact me.

The Limited Edition Prints are still coming. There is much interest. The pandemic and website development has slowed the process. Once there is a sense that production and transport will run smoothly, publication will start. An announcement email will be sent to you if you are on the emailing list.

And finally, THANK YOU for your for the positive comments!

Global shipping in a Covid 19 world

IMG_4592.jpg

The world is dealing with a pandemic and it’s hard to know which way is up!

I’ve held up saying anything until there was more information but I was happy to find some positivity in the news when I discovered that shipping posters is still safe.

According to scientific info, the virus is very hard to transmit through paper. Parcels and mail are deemed safe. I am the only one packaging the posters. I am socially/physically distanced and somewhat self isolated.

Canada Post has informed me that shipping to some countries such as Italy is going to be slow. Please be patient. The first poster orders have been shipped. I have received confirmation from the Canadian buyers that their posters are being received. If you have purchased a poster online and the destination is to the U.S. or International, please let me know when you receive it. Thank you!

The limited edition print publication will be delayed until I have a clear indication that shipping is not compromised in any way!

In the meantime, feel free to get your poster orders in.

FINALLY! The website is up and Running!

This website was designed for those who love Rob Gonsalves’s paintings and want a site with information about his work, his biography, future shows and where to buy his work. There has been such a demand for this website that it has been published as quickly as possible. More information, more paintings in the Gallery and more opportunities to purchase his images will be added. Please use the contact form if there is some aspect that you think needs to be included. We are always open to suggestions.

Running an online store is new to us. The posters are ready to be shipped. Please be patient if there are any bugs in the shopping process. Not all country shipping rates have been calculated. If shipping to your country is not available, please contact us and we will get you a quote. If the posters are popular, new images will be printed. So, if there is an image that you are longing for, let us know.

Once this website and online store is up and running smoothly, the Legacy Limited Edition Prints will be made available. Really, they are coming!!!!!

I am excited to finally do justice to the brilliance of Rob Gonsalves.

His loving partner, Lise Gonsalves
